RLI Selects WebWriter™
Cargo to Launch New Marine Division

June 21, 2005 (Toronto, Ontario/Peoria, Illinois) - Following the April 1st announcement of new Marine Division RLI Insurance Company (NYSE:RLI) has established a new marine division, the company announced the selection of the WebWriter™ Cargo software solution from Insurance Systems Inc. (ISI) of Toronto for policy and certificate issuance.“

Branded “MarineExpress”, the system allows RLI Marine's brokers and clients to transact business over the web, including quoting for new business, credit card transactions for certificate purchases, reporting and other account services.

The latest version of WebWriter™ Cargo includes tools to enforce internal Sarbanes-Oxley compliance as well as interfaces with the Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) and Blocked Persons List as well as the Lloyd's Register - Fairplay database of ocean-going vessels.
